1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or using PrêtCanada's services, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this site. These terms may be modified at any time. Your continued use of the site after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
2. Service Description
PrêtCanada is a matching service that facilitates connections between potential borrowers and licensed partner lenders. PrêtCanada IS NOT a lender. We do not make credit decisions, set interest rates, or have any control over the terms of loans offered by our partners. Our role is limited to transmitting your application to our network of partner lenders.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must: • Be at least 18 years old • Be a Canadian resident • Have an active Canadian bank account • Provide accurate and complete information PrêtCanada reserves the right to refuse access to its services to any person, at any time, without notice.
4. Accuracy of Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided in your application. Any misrepresentation or intentional omission constitutes fraud and may result in legal proceedings. PrêtCanada does not independently verify submitted information but reserves the right to request supporting documents.
5. No Guarantee of Approval
Submitting an application through PrêtCanada in no way guarantees loan approval. Approval, amounts, rates and terms are determined exclusively by partner lenders according to their own evaluation criteria. Annual percentage rates (APR) generally range between 9.99% and 46.96% depending on the borrower's profile and the lender.
6. Fees and Compensation
Use of PrêtCanada's matching service is entirely free for borrowers. PrêtCanada is compensated by partner lenders when a loan is granted. This compensation does not affect the terms of the loan offered to you.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site (texts, images, logos, graphics, source code) is the exclusive property of PrêtCanada or its licensors. Any reproduction, distribution or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
PrêtCanada cannot be held liable for decisions made by partner lenders, the terms of loans granted, financial losses resulting from the use of our services, or the inaccuracy of information provided by users. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you is limited to $100.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal Canadian laws. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.
